Most of the inscription is still legible on the Jenkinson and Attack headstone, which is located under a large tree to the west of the central path, towards the north of the cemetery.

Who died Nov 25 1868 aged 40 years

BENJAMIN ATTACK died April 16 1883 aged 84 years
William Jenkinson (1835 – 8 September 1864)
William was the son of Henry and Elizabeth and was baptised on 29 March 1835. He grew up at 8 Annersley Place, where his parents ran an inn and married Elizabeth Attack on 9 August 1859 at All Saints’ Church. They lived at 22 Crawford Street, Portman Square in London and William worked as a ‘collector in china trade’. He died at his parents in law’s house at 2 Malcolm Street ‘after a long and painful illness borne with Christian fortitude. He was greatly respected and is deeply lamented by his bereaved widow and a large circle of friends’.
Elizabeth Sanderson Jenkinson (née Attack) (21 September 1828 – 25 November 1868)
Elizabeth was the only child of Benjamin and Mary (née Waters) and was baptised at Holy Sepulchre Church on 4 January 1829. She grew up at King Street and then 2 Malcolm Street and died at Malcolm Street aged 40 years old.
Mary Ann Attack (née Waters) (1804 – 22 May 1881)
Mary married Benjamin Attack on 18 September 1827 at All Saints’ Church and had one daughter. They lived at King Street (1841) and then at 2 Malcolm Street (at least 1851 onwards). Benjamin worked as a plasterer, and Mary as a college bedmaker. In April 1881 the couple were running a Lodging house from Malcolm Street and Mary died there the following month.
Benjamin Attack (21 September 1798 – 16 April 1883)
Benjamin was born in Bedford and baptised at the Howard Chapel, Mill Street on 25 November 1798. He was the son of John and Elizabeth and married Mary Waters when he was 28 years old. He died at Malcolm Street aged 84 years old.
