Amy Clements (née Read) (c.1783 –  1 May 1864)

Amy was born in Great Yarmouth and married Valentine Clements (1783-) on 12 May 1804.  The couple lived in Great Yarmouth had at least three chldren: Thomas Peckard (1804-), John Read (1807-), and Ann (1816-1864).  It is not known when she was widowed, but by 1851 was living with her daughter and son in law in Cambridge. On census records she was described as either an ‘annuitant’ or ‘proprietor of houses’.She died at 27 Regent Street in 1864.

Ann Banham (née Clements) (1815 – 15 November 1864)

Ann was the daughter of Amy and Valentine Clements and was born in Great Yarmouth.   She was baptised on 28 April 1815, and married Charles Banham at St. Nicholas Church, Great Yarmouth on 30 April 1836. They had one daughter: Ann Clements Banham (1838 – 1886).  In 1841 they were living in Great Yarmouth and Charles was working as a tailor. By 1851 they had moved to Cambridge, and were living at Burleigh Street, in 1861 they were living at 27 Regent Street.  Ann died at Regent Street aged 49 years.

Charles Draper Banham (6 August 1813 – 11 December 1878)

Charles was the son of Charles and Mary Banham and was born in Great Yarmouth.  He was baptised on 3 July 1821, and became a tailor like his father.

After he was widowed Charles went to live at 31 Clarendon Street, and was living there in 1871 with housekeeper Rebecca Handley (1834-). Rebecca was the daughter of Uriah and Ann Handley, and in 1861 she had been working as a milliner in his business and living with the family on Regent Street.  He married Rebecca on 7 September 1877 at St. Andrew the Great Church. Charles died the following year at Clarendon Street aged 65 years old.
