Emma Crick (1831-17 December 1890)
Emma was born in Balsham and baptised there on 11 September 1831. She was the daughter of John and Mary (née Fuller) Crick and her father worked as an agricultural labourer. By the time she was 20 years old Emma was in service and working for Dennis and Harriot Adams at their house at 31 Sidney Street. Dennis was a surgeon, and Emma was housekeeper by the age of 30 years old (1861). She remained in the same household until her death aged 59 years old.
