This stone cross, in the parish area of St Paul, is located east of the western path.

John Montague Cross (21 June 1893 – 25 August 1893)

John was the infant son of John and Kate Cross and died aged 9 weeks old.

Kate Florence Cross  (née Harvey) (1861 – 1 December  1932)

Kate was born in Cambridge and was the daughter of Thomas and Caroline (née Rutter). Her father was a builder and she grew up at Regent Street (1861) and then 37 Russell Street (1871). She married John Cross (1857-1945) c.1888 and the couple had two children: Vita Florence Harvey (1891-1979) and John Montague (1893-1893). John was a butcher and the family lived at 23 Hills Road. Kate died in Dartford, Kent aged 71 years old.

John Cross lived in Bexley, Kent with his widowed daugher Vita (1939)  and died in Kent aged 88 years old. He was buried in Bexley on 12 June 1945.
