The lower section of this headstone is badly eroded.  It is located on the second row east of the western path, almost opposite the listed grave of James Rattee, in the parish area of St Paul.

Lizzie Danns (c. 1859-1890)

Baptised Susan Elisabeth, she was one of at least five children born to Anthony and Hannah Danns. She was a milliner’s assistant. Lizzie was only 31 when she died at her parents home, 7 Bentinck Street, Cambridge.  She was buried on January 2nd 1891.

Hannah Danns (née Cropley) (c. 1825-1905)

Hannah was born in Stretham near Ely, Cambridgeshire to John, a shepherd and Hannah Cropley. She married Anthony Danns in Stretham on 8th February 1848. Hannah was 79 when she died at the family home, 7 Bentinck Street.

Anthony Danns (c. 1825-1908)

[assumed from the burial record and grave book] Anthony was born in (Great or Little Chesterford, near Saffron Walden, Essex, to Anthony, a tailor and [Rebekah] Danns. He was a miller. He died in April 1908, at the family home 7 Bentinck Street, aged 83.
