John Davies (1800 –  23 March 1851)

Very little is known of John’s life. He was the son of John Davies and was a tailor who had a shop in Trinity Street.  He appears to have specialised in the making of trousers and breeches.

He married Martha Crisp on 20th January 1842 at Great St Mary’s Church.  He died at home in Trinity Street in March 1851 after what newspapers described as ‘a long and painful lilness’. He was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 28th March.

William Crisp Davies (1848 – 6  October 1848)

William was the son of John and Martha Davies.  He was baptised on 30th April 1848, but died aged 8 months old.
