Harriette Doggett (1838 – 9 January 1907)

Harriette was born in Long Stanton and was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Doggett. She was born in c.1838, but by later census returns had changed her year of birth to 1841.She grew up on the High Street in Long Stanton where her father was a publican and farmer.  She did not marry and on the 1881/1891 census returns was noted as a visitor. In 1881 she was at 34 Emery Street with Marianne Morris and her sister Sarah Doggett.  Both Harriette and Sarah were noted as being farmer’s daughters.  In 1891 she was living with her cousin Dinah Collett at Hall Farm House in Hadstock, Essex.

In 1901 Harriette and her sister Sarah were running a Lodging House from 10 Warkworth Street.  She died at Warkworth Street.
