Jane Rebecca Fordham  (née Chapman) (5 April 1877 – 31 October  1948)

Jane was born at 17 Gas Lane and was the daughter of labourer Arthur and charwoman Elizabeth. She was baptised at the Primitive Methodist Chapel on 25 April 1878 and aged 14 was living at 45 Bradmore Street and working as a domestic servant to Albert and Emily Wallis.

Jane married Harry Fordham in 1901 and they had at least three daughters: Violet Florence E (1902-1906), Sybil Kathleen (1905-1977) and Marian Vera May (1909-1995). Harry worked as a labourer and they lived at 106 York Street, 38 Albert Street (at least 1905 – 1911) and then 38 Young Street.  Jane died at home aged 71 years old.

Harry Fordham  (23 March 1878 – 10 October 1956)

Harry was the son of John and Rachel (née Turner) and was born and raised at 27 Norfolk Terrace.  John Fordham was a miller and Harry worked a labourer – in 1911 he was working in a brewery.

Violet Florence E Fordham (1902 – 25 November 1906)

Violet died at Albert Street and was buried on 29 November.
