These well preserved kerb stones, in the parish area of St Paul, are located in the north of the parish midway between the central & west paths. The inscription is very clear.

Frederick Charles Foster (1884 – 23 November 1933)

Frederick was the eldest son of Charles Frederick Foster and Alice Ann (née Reed) and was raised at 2 Union Road.  His father was a plumber, painter and glazier and aged 16 Frederick was working as a clerk, but by the age of 26 (1911) was a house painter. He married Florence Lillie Sealey (1884-1957) in 1911 and they lived at 55 Norwich Street. He died at Addenbrookes Hospital aged 49 years old.
