Monument – Kerbstones

Location – to the left of the Norfolk St Gate when you enter the cemetery from the north about 3 metres from the wall. The inscription is on the south kerb and although still legible it is usually covered by grass.


William Reynolds Fuller who died Jan. 14th 1951


William Reynolds Fuller (23/May/1877 – 1951)

William was the son of Henry & Elizabeth Fuller. Henry, a paper hanger died when William was a baby. His mother went to work as a charwoman (cleaner) and Henry was brought up in Fitzroy St and 16 Albert St. By the age of 14 he was working at a printers. 

He married Jane Morley at St Matthews Church on September 21st 1904 when he was 27 years old and working as a warehouseman. In 1911 they were living at 7 Milford St and had no children. They continued to live there for many years. The 1939 census shows that William had become a printer overseer.

Jane is probably buried here but we did not find an inscription.
