This stone cross, in the parish area of St Botolph, is located to the east of the central path, heading north,  It is directly behind the coped stone of Thomas and Jane Smith.

William Hampden Gabbett (1846 – 1862)

William was born on 27 January 1846, the third son on Daniel Gabbett of Limerick, Ireland.  He was admitted to Trinity Hall as a pensioner on 14 October 1862.  He is recorded as matriculating at Michaelmas 1862.  He died of diptheria on 30 December 1862.
