Grace Olive Green (c.1892 – 30 July 1926)

Grace was the youngest child of George and Bertha Green. She died at Vine House, 11 Ross Street aged 34 years old.

Blanche Bertha Green (c.1886 – 22 August  1928)

Blanche was the second child of George and Bertha Green. In 1911 she was working as an elementary school teacher in a Cambridge council run school.  She died aged 42 years old at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

George Green (26 February 1858 – 12 April 1945)

George was the son of William and Kezia Green and was born in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.  His father was a agricultural worker, and by the age of 23 (1881) he was boarding at 14 Pulling Terrace in Cambridge and working as a railway porter. He married Bertha Dean c.1882 and they had three children: Percy George (1883-1969), Blanche Bertha and Grace Olive. The family lived at 7 Great Eastern Street (1891) and then at Vine House, 11 Ross Street (at least 1901 onwards).  George died at home aged 87 years old.

Bertha Green (née Dean) (22 March 1857 – 27 June 1948)

Bertha was born in Great Shelford and was the daughter of farm labourer James Dean and his wife Elizabeth. By the age of 23 she was working as a general domestic servant to widow Ellen Armistead at Church End in Great Shelford. Bertha died at 147 Coleridge Road – the home of her son Percy.
