Monument
This set of kerbstones with an open book is located 18 rows east of the central path, 8 rows west of the east path and a few monuments north of the path that runs east from the centre circle. I kerb had fallen when this photo was taken and the monument sustained further damage in 2019 . The metal letters are mostly intact.

Sarah Harding (née Davey) (1854 – 29 January 1927)
Sarah was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah and was born in Hinxton, Cambridgeshire. Her father ran the King’s Head pub in the village and Sarah married William Harding in 1880. They had eleven children: Herbert Davey (1881-1961), Walter (1883-), Percy William (1884-1955), Lottie Tomlinson (1886-1947), Florence Kate (1889-), Fred (1892-), George (1892-1947), Doris May (1899-1961), Charles William (1901-1983) and a further two children who are believed to have died as infants.
William worked as a carpenter and the family lived at Oak Terrace Mill Road (1881) then 243 Mill Road (1901/1911). Sarah died aged 72 years old.
William Thomas Harding (1851 – 9 June 1928)
William was born in Duxford and grew up at Wheat Sheaf farm where his father farmed 22 acres and employed 2 men. He died at home aged 77 years old.
Doris May Harding (21 July 1899 – 27 May 1961)
Doris was the daughter of William & Sarah and worked as an assembler in a radio components factory (1939). In 1961 she was living at 92 Histon Road and died at Brookfields Hospital, Mill Road.
