Much of the headstone is now covered in grass.  It is close to the central path on the southern border of the parish of All Saints.

Inscription

Sacred to the Memory of ANN MARIA the only and beloved child of
ANTHONY and ELIZ HART died July 18 1858 aged 14 years

Ann Maria Hart (c.1844 – 18 July  1858)

Ann was the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Hart. Her parents were from Suffolk, but had settled in Cambridge where Anthony was a coachmaker.  Ann was their only daughter and died at 13 Sidney Place, Cambridge aged 14 years old.

In January 1860 Anthony was sentenced to four months imprisonment for ‘unlawfully defrauding Amos Salt of the sum of 38s by playing at dice’ at the Duke of Sussex pub on Sussex Street.
