Mary Ann Hills (d 1915)

Mary Ann was the second child of Mary and Thomas Hills. She was baptised in the parish church of St Paul on Hills Road, Cambridge on July 7th. At this time the family were living in Terrace Lane, Cambridge. Mary was a dressmaker. She was living in Park Street, Cambridge when she died.

Thomas Hills (d 1887) 

Thomas was born in Royston. His father James was a groom. He married Mary Wenham on May 8th 1848 at St Paul’s Church, Cambridge. In 1851 he was working as a groom and living with his wife and two children in Terrace Lane, Cambridge. By 1871 he was living at 41 King Street, Cambridge and was a foreman at the stables of a local inn. Thomas was living in Jesus Lane, Cambridge when he died at the age of 70.

Mary Hills (née Wenham) (d 1888)

Mary was also born in Royston. Her father William was also a groom. She was living in Jesus Lane, Cambridge when she died at the age of 66.
