On 19th May 2016 the monument was vandalised and the head is now missing.

This angel statue with kerb stones is located on the west of the centre circle.

My dear Mother
‘Isabell Mary Hopkins who died June 24th 1915 aged 60’
‘Also Nana her daughter who died March 25th 1926 aged [40]”
“Father in thy gracious keeping

Isabella Mary Pattison Hopkins née Stoton (1846 – 1915)

Isabella was born in St Neots, Huntingdonshire to William and ? Stoten. Her father was a tailor. She married Thomas Hopkins in St Andrew’s Church, Chesterton, Cambridge on March 12th 1872. Their first two children were born at 3 Trafalgar Street, Jane Catherine 1874 and Alfred Arthur 1876 followed by Hannah in 1879 when they were living at 19 Milton Road. When Isabella died she was living at 21 Orchard Street. It is not known when or where Thomas Hopkins died.

Nana Hopkins (d 1926)

Probably Harriet, born in 1876 and baptised at St Lukes Church, Chesterton.
In the burial records she is named Nana Harriet Hopkins and the age is given as 45 not 40.
