This headstone stands 1 row west of the east path just before it bends to become the north path. The carved inscription has just started to erode.

Henry Playford (1848 – 6 March 1900)
Henry was born in Docking, North Norfolk and baptised there on 23 April 1848. He was the son of John and Loveda and married Ellen Godfrey (1846-) on 14 January 1870 in Docking. They had at least eight children: Alice Lottie (1871-), Charles Henry (1874-1924), Minnie (1876-), Florence (1878-), Ellen Ann (1879-1963), Eliza May (1884-1966), Rosa Amelia (1887-1895) and Percy Leonard (1889-1978). Henry worked as a carpenter/undertaker and they lived at Broad Street (at least 1881 onwards). He died at home aged 52 years old.
Ellen Playford married for a second time in 1904 to Norfolk farmer Charles Youngs (1844-) and moved to live in East Dereham.
Rosa Amelia Playford (1887 – 11 December 1895)
Rosa died aged 8 years old.
Lois Edna May Hornsby (1903 – 20 June 1905)
Lois was the daughter of Harry and Ellen Ann (née Playford) Hornsby.
Lois’s paternal grandparents are also buried at Mill Road Cemetery.
