Located close to the north west wall, next to the path. The east kerb has fallen but the other kerbs and the inscription are intact.

A loving wife and mother EMMA JANE HUNT who died Feb 27th 1931 age 64 years

Also of WILLIAM ELIAS HUNT who died Nov 15. 1937 age 79 years

Emma Jane Hunt  (née Santer) (1866 – 27 February 1931)

Emma was born in Canterbury and was the daughter of William and Frances. She grew up in Margate, where her father worked as a grocer’s warehouseman and married William Hunt in 1890.  They had six children: William Elias (1891-1969), Arthur Leslie (1893-1924), Elsie Emma (1895-1954), Albert Henry (1897-1983), Horace Sidney (1899-1985) and Edith Florence (1903-1998).  William worked as a tailor and the couple raised their family in Margate.  They had  retired to live in Cambridge by at least 1927 onwards and lived at 49 Blinco Grove. Emma died at home aged 64 years old.

William Elias Hunt (1860 – 15 November 1937)

William was the son of William Elias and his wife Mary Ann. He was born in Willingham, and grew up on the Histon Road. His father was a tailor and William also became a tailor.  He died at Blinco Grove in 1937.
