Arthur Frettingham Hutt (1878 – 26 February 1910)
Arthur was the son of George and Emma (née Frettingham) Hutt, and grandson of Edward and Susan. He was born in Trumpington and raised at the school house on Church Street where both his parents taught. At the age of 23 he was living in Tolworth near Surbiton and working as a warehouseman (wholesaler) of umbrellas.
He married Winifred Mary Elliot (1881-1977) at St. Barnabas Church, Kentish Town on 4 June 1904. Winifred’s father was also a warehouseman and before she married Winifred worked as a showroom assistant. They moved to Cambridge and Arthur died at 55 Jesus Lane aged 32 years old.
Winifred Hutt never remarried. She trained to be a nurse at Paddington (1912-1915) and then nursed in Wolverhampton for most of her life. She died in Wolverhampton aged 96 years old.
