Sarah Ann Lawrence (4 February 1831 – 14 November 1899)
Sarah was born in Babraham, a village six miles south east of Cambridge and was baptised there on 6 March 1831. She was the daughter of James and Sarah, and her parents are thought to have run a grocery store. Aged 20 Sarah was living with her widowed mother in York Street and was working as a shoebinder. They later moved to 31 Park Street, and Sarah Lawrence died in 1862. Sarah remained living at Park Street and worked as a needlewoman (1871) and then as a college servant (1881/1891). She died at home aged 68 years old.
