Mary Ann Mason (Ann) (née Scott) (c.1779 – March 1860)

Mary married Henry Mason on 22 August 1804 when she was c.25 years old and is believed to have been known as Ann through her life.  Henry worked for the inland revenue as a clerk and the couple had at least nine children: Matilda (1807-1815), Emma Scott (1809-1873), Henry Paul (1811-1893), Edward (1813-), Helen Martha (1814-), A Son (1818-), Wilford (1821-), George (1821-) and Frances (1826-).  The family lived at Low Close Cottage on Brewer’s Lane, East Road from at least 1841 onwards.  Ann died at home aged 80 years old.

Henry Martin Mason (c.1783 – 10 April 1864)

Henry was born in Cambridge, and after he was widowed lived at Brewhouse Lane with his daughter Emma, son Henry and his family (1861).  He died at Bradmore Street, East Road aged 81 years old.

Emma Scott Mason (4 June 1809 – 8 March 1873)

Emma was born in Cambridge, and baptised in Essex on 9 August 1809.  She lived at home with her parents and then moved to live at 11 Parkside with her younger sister Frances.  She died at home aged 63 years old.
