Mary Paull (1818 – 9 November 1912)
Mary was born in Falmouth in Cornwall. Paull is a very common surname in Cornwall, and it has not been able to distinguish which family she came from. She was living in London by 1841, when her daughter Elizabeth was born. She had one other child, who died before 1911. In 1901 she was living with her unmarried daughter Elizabeth at 63 South Island Place in Lambeth, where Elizabeth ran a tobacconist shop. By 1911 the pair had moved to Cambridge and were living at 8 Pembroke Street. Elizabeth was running a confectionery, tobacco and news shop at the location. Mary died in November 1912 aged 94 years old.
Elizabeth Paull (c.1840 – 1 February 1917)
Elizabeth was born in London, and in 1891 was working as a companion to Louisa Evans at 16 Compton Road. She later ran stores in both London and Cambridge, and was living at 30 Mill Road when she died in 1917.
