In Loving Memory of AIMEE ELLEN PENBERTHY
Who died 22 December 1898

Aimée Ellen Penberthy (c.1859 – 22 December 1898)

Aimée was the wife of surgeon Dr William Penberthy.  It is believed that they came to Cambridge c.1895  when William was appointed as deputy Medical Officer.  He later practised at 5 Jesus Lane in a partnership called Penberthy and Webb. They had at least one daughter Mary Eustice (1897-) who was born in Cambridge. Little is know of Aimee’s life, but prior to coming to Cambridge William had worked in London. Aimee died at 5 Jesus Lane.
