George Alfred Pleasance (1849 – 15 February  1912)

George was the son of Frederic and Mary Ann (née Chapman) Pleasance and grew up at 12 Jesus Lane where his father was a bootmaker. He  married Annie Hall in 1881 and the couple had at least two children: Edward Hall (1885-1962) and Grace Annie (1887-1970). George worked as a carpenter and later as a rate collector (1901 onwards).  The family lived at 52 Park Street (1881), 70 Rhadegund Terrace, Jesus Lane (1891) and then 13 Park Parade (1901/1911).  George died at Park Parade aged 62 years old.

Anne (Annie) Pleasance  (née Hall) (23 July 1853 -24 July  1947)

Annie was the daughter of William and Hannah Hall and was baptised on 28 August 1853 at Holy Sepulchre Church.  She grew up at 63 Park Street and her father was a carpenter. She married George Pleasance when she was 28 years old. After she was widowed Annie lived with her daughter Grace at 8 Magrath Avenue (1939) and died the day after her 94th birthday.

Grace continued to live at Magrath Avenue until her death in April 1970.
