Arthur Joseph Rodell (c.1885 – 6 June 1912)
Arthur was the third of the eight children born to Arthur and Eliza Rodell. He was born in Cambridge and grew up at 131 Catherine Street [1891] and then Belgrave Road [1891] and his father worked as a railway signalman. In 1911 he was living at Sheen Terrace, Queen Street in Newmarket and working as a railway goods foreman. He died in 1912 aged 27 years old.
Violet May Rodell (c.1894 – 3 September 1913)
Violet May was the youngest of Arthur and Eliza Rodell’s children. She was living at 4 Belgrave Road in 1911, and was of no occupation. She died aged 19 years old in 1913.
Sidney Percy Rodell (c.1893 – 10 March 1929)
Percy was the seventh of the Rodell’s eight children. In 1911 he was living at home and working as a railway porter. He married Lilian Daisy Murfitt in 1923 when he was 29 years old. They lived at 15 Ross Street and Sidney worked as a railway goods guard. He had at least one daughter Audrey H [1925 -] He died of pneumonia at home in March 1929, He was 34 years old.
Lilian did not re-marry and continued to live at 15 Ross Street [1939] She died in 1971.
