Sarah Ann Sandifer (née Livermore)  (1853 – 30 September 1904)

Sarah was born in Duxford and baptised there on 17 April 1853. She was the daughter of John (1802-1867) and Josan (née Jeffery) (1823-1913) and grew up in Duxford, where her father was an agricultural labourer/farmer. Sarah lived in London for a while with her sister Susan, and brother in law Joseph Howe (1871) and then lived in Whittlesford with her mother and stepfather Charles Thurnall (1881). She married widower Ebenezer Sandifer (1844-1903)  in Cambridge in 1893 in Cambridge. Ebenezer ran  an oil/colour shop on The Parade in Chingford (1891) and the couple returned to lived in Chingford (1901), Sarah was widowed in October 1903 and Ebenezer was buried  in Essex with his first wife.  Sarah then  moved to 29 Devonshire Road to live with her brother Thomas Livermore. She died at Devonshire Road aged 51 years old and her funeral took place on 4 October 1904.
