The headstone faces east and is next to the south wall. It was not mapped in 2017 but the area was cleared for a brief period in 2018.

Charlotte Jane Sier [nee Kenward] (31 July 1862 – 27 October 1933)

Charlotte was born in Wivelsfield in Sussex and was baptised there on 7th September 1862.  She was the daughter of James and Charlotte Kenward and grew up in Chailey where James was a gardener in a large estate.

She married Henry Sier in 1890 in Lewes in Sussex, and the family moved to live in Cambridge soon after.  Charlotte and Henry had three children: Henry James [1891-1985], William John [1894-1965] and Charles [1899-1977].

The family lived at 35 Park Street where Henry was a grocer’s assistant [1901] and then a corn merchants assistant [1911]. Charlotte died at 35 Park Street in October 1933 aged 71 years old.

Charlotte’s husband Henry Sier died in 1936 in Cambridge.
