Located three monuments from the east west path and five rows west of the east path.

Inscription

In Loving Memory of ARTHUR SMITH who died May 14. 1931.

“In life. In death. O Lord abide with me.”

Also SARAH BOND SMITH who died Oct. 29. 1946 aged 78 years

Arthur Smith (c 1868 – 1931)

Arthur was born in Cambridge to Frederick, a college servant, and Mahala, a laundress. He was brought up in Little St Mary’s Lane. Arthur became a carpenter. He married Sarah on February 18th 1892 in Harston, Cambridgeshire.

They had a son Arthur Frederick Kenneth who was born in 1903 and died in 1905.

Sarah Bond Smith (née Parker) (1867 – 1946) 

Sarah was the daughter of Henry, a coachman and Rachel. She was born and brought up in Harston.
