William (Willie)  Muncey Smith (30 September 1884 – 11 July 1908)

Willie was the son of William and Jane Smith, but his father died when he was a very young child. Jane married for a second time to plasterer Joseph Young, and Willie grew up at 137 Sturton Street. Aged 16 he was working as a cook’s porter and died at the Sanitorium aged 23 years old.
