This headstone, in the parish area of St Clement, is located one row east of the central path just before the centre circle.

William Stonebridge (1825 – 1890) 

William was born in Cambridge. He was the son of William (a gardener) and Ann (a college servant).
In 1851 William, aged 26, was living with his family in Blackamoor’s Head Yard off Bridge Street and working as a college servant.  He married Mary Ann on February 10th 1853 at St Clement’s Church.

They had at least six children:  Ellen Jane (b 1853), Mary Ann (b 1854/5), Emma Sophia (b 1856/7), William Henry (b 1859), Charles John (b 1863) and Leah McCowan (b 1866)

Mary Ann Stonebridge (née Pointon) (c 1827 – 1909)

Mary was born in Hatfield.  She was living at 11 Richmond Terrace when she died.
