William Farrow Taylor (1855-1920)

William was born to Charles and Ellen Taylor in Barrow, Suffolk, England. He was baptised on 5th August 1855.  On the 1881 Census his occupation was listed as music dealer but when he came to Cambridge it was as a newspaper proprietor.

Alice Louise Taylor (née Trew) (1857-1924)

William and Alice married in Suffolk in 1875 and had at least eight children. The family moved to Cambridge between 1888 and 1890. In 1891 the family were living at 12 Willis Road, Cambridge. In 1911 Gertrude and Archibald were living with their parents at 1 Regent Street and Archibald was working as an auctioneer.
