Susannah Trowell (née Weston) (1805 – 8 August 1883)
Susannah was baptised in Peterborough on 7 July 1805 and was the daughter of John and Susannah Weston. She married William Trowell (1807-1878) on 12 August 1828 at St. John’s Church, Peterborough. In 1851 the couple were living with house servant Mary West, and William was described as a landed proprietor. By 1871 they were living at 4 Alma Place in Fletton, Peterborough and William was recorded on the census as a retired upholsterer. After she was widowed Susannah moved to Cambridge to live with her niece Caroline Southam at 22 Bateman Street. She died in Cambridge aged 78 years old.
