Leslie Arthur Wright (20 April 1901 – 11 September 1906)
Arthur was the only son of Arthur and Bertha Wright. He died at 51 Glisson Road aged 5 years old.
Bertha Eliza Wright (née Moore) (1864 – 10 October 1935)
Bertha was the daughter of George and Emma and was born in Dalham – a village between Newmarket and Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk. Her father farmed at ‘The Malting’ in Dalham and in 1871 was farming 140 acres as well as milling flour, and working as a maltster. By 1891 the Moore family were living at Great Horringer Hall in Horringer, Suffolk. Bertha married Arthur Wright on 24 September 1898 at Carlton Colville, Suffolk.
Arthur was a solicitor and they lived at 51 Glisson Road with their three children: Doris Bertha (1900-1973), Leslie Arthur and Ella Mary (1903-1987). Bertha died at Glisson Road aged 71 years old.
Arthur Wright (8 October 1863 – 29 November 1948)
Arthur was born in Fulbourn and was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth. His father was a famer/land agent and he grew up at Rectory Farm, Fulbourn (1871), Bateman Street (1881) and Manor Farm, Chesterton (1891). He studied at Gonville and Caius College, and later served as a member of the senate.
Arthur practised from an office at 24 St. Andrew’s Street (1901) and much of his work appears to have been related to land/property conveyancing. By 1939 he had retired and was living alone at Glisson Road with domestic servant Florence Hudson. He later moved to live at Green Tiles, Barton Mills in Suffolk and died there aged 85 years old.
