John Bacon Wright (c.1847 – 20 July 1911)
John was born in Bumpstead-Helion in Essex and was baptised there on 7th March 1847. He was the son of George and Sarah [nee Bacon] Wright – George was a small holder and carpenter. He married Eliza in 1867 when he was 20 years old and they had a total of seven children together, many of whom died in infancy: Reginald George [1870-1945], Ada [1873-], Minnie Maria [1880-], Charles Richer [1899-1921] and three others. By the time of John’s death only two of his seven children were alive.
In1881 he was living in Bumpstead-Helion where he was keeping a beerhouse. By 1899 he had moved to Cambridge and was working as a carpenter/joiner. In 1901 the family were living at 25 Mawson Road, but they later moved to 91 Thoday Street. He died at Thoday Street in 1911, aged 64 years old. He left an estate valued at £64.
Eliza Wright (c.1843 – 22 January 1919)
Little is known of Eliza. She was born near Haverhill, and married when she was around 24 years old. She died in 1919 aged 76 years old.
Jack Charles Richer Wright (c.1899 – 28 July 1921)
Jack was called Charles Richer Wright at birth, but seems to have been known as Jack. He lived at Mawson Road and then Thoday Street. He died aged 22 years old,
