This headstone is located in the south east corner of the parish of Holy Trinity. 3 rows west of the east wall and roughly 11 metres from the south wall. As this area is very overgrown we have not yet been able to photograph it.

Inscription 

Emily Mary Ann Amps  (née Ludman) (1884 – 1 July 1927)

Emily was the daughter of Charles and Esther (née Sampson) Ludman. Charles was a labourer who died in 1887 aged 38, and Emily’s mother Esther then married bricklayer Alfred Jacobs in 1892.  Emily was raised at 4 St. Matthew’s Court and aged 16 was working as a domestic servant. She married Thomas William Amps (1883-1960) in 1903 and the couple had at least two sons: Thomas Charles (1906-1984) and Reginald (1909-1984). Thomas was a gas fitters labourer and the family lived at 4 St. Matthew’s Street. Emily died at home aged 43 years old and was buried on 5 July.

Thomas married widow Alice Violet Bragg (née Palmer) (1882-1976) in 1928 and died in Cambridge aged 76 years old.
