Laura Agnes Sophia Constable (1859 – 16 May 1863)

Laura died at Earl Street and was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 20 May 1863.

William Edward Constable (6 July 1862 – 20 May 1864)

William died at Earl Street after ‘a long affliction’.

Arthur Thomas Constable (1860 –  17 April 1886)

Arthur was the eldest son of Thomas and Susannah Constable and grew up at 42 King Street.  He married Selina Edwards (1860-1932) on 2 July 1882 in Poplar.  At the time he was living in Poplar and working as a ‘tram car conductor’. He died at Tenison Road aged 26 years old.

Thomas Constable (12 July 1829 – 3 February 1888)

Thomas was the son of Keeble & Harriet who are buried in the parish of St Andrew the Less – we have not found a monument. He was the brother of William Constable who is buried in an adjoining grave and Keeble buried in the parish of All Saints. He was  born in Bury St. Edmunds and baptised on 17 August 1829. In 1851 he was a printer/compositor living with his parents at Fitzroy Street.  He married Susannah Sophia Banks (1821-1905) on Christmas Day 1855 at Christ Church and they had at least four children: Laura Agnes Sophia (1859-1863), Arthur Thomas (1860-1886), William Edward (1862-1864) and Ellen Louisa (1865-1932). Thomas worked as a newspaper reporter after he married and the family lived at  5 Earl Street (1861), 51 King Street  (1871/1881) and  21 Tenison Road where he died aged 58.

After she was widowed Susannah Constable lived with her sister Anne at Thurlmore House, Abbey Road (1891) before moving to Eccles, Lancashire to live with her daughter Ellen and son in law John Porter. She died in Eccles aged 84 years old.
