Standing 2 rows west of the central path this cross is in good order but often covered in ivy & bramble. We assume that the inscription to Ann is on the the west face.

Paul Edward Grundy (25 March 1818 – 23 August 1891)
Paul was born in London, he was the son of Thomas and Martha Grundy. His father worked a shoemaker. By 1850 Paul was living at 29a Regent Street, and working as a hatter. He married Anne Hammond in 1853. He moved his business at some point to 35 Regent Street. and the business eventually became a hatter and hosier. He and Anne didn’t have any children. He died aged 73 years old, and left effects valued at £4,858 12d 6s.
Anne Grundy [nee Hammond] (1832 – 26 December 1892)
Anne was the daughter of James and Susanna Hammond. She was baptised on 3rd June 1832 at St Benedict’s Church. Anne grew up at 28 Regent Street, where her father was a coachmaker. She married Paul Grundy when she was 21 years old. She died aged 60 years, in December 1892 less than 18 months after the death of her husband.
