Mary Jane (known as Jane) Pugh (2 April 1851 – 14 February 1940)

Jane was born in Rudgeley, Staffordshire and married William Pugh c.1881 (according to the 1911 census).  They had six children: William (1878-), Charles (1880-1944), Frank (1882-1913), Edith May (1888-1918), Jenny (1890-1892) and another child who died as an infant. William Pugh worked as a signal fitter, Jane ran a grocery shop and the family lived in Wolverhampton (1881/1891).  By 1901 they had moved to live at 19 Ross Street and William was working as a railway signal foreman. In 1939 William had retired and the couple were living at Ross Street with granddaughter Lilian and her husband  Percy Shinn. Jane died at Ross Street aged 88 years old and was buried on 17 February.

William Pugh (2 July 1855 – 4 March 1942)

William was born in Worcester and died at Ross Street aged 86 years old.
