Henry Dellow (c. 1848 –  18 March 1894)

Henry was born in Croydon and is believed to have been the son of James and Martha Dellow.  He married Harriet Peachey on St. Paul’s Church on 30 November 1872.  They had one son: Henry James (1874-1957).  The couple lived at 57 Ainsworth Street (1881) where Henry ran a grocers shop, by 1891 Harriet was running the shop and Henry was working as a gardener.  By 1894 they had moved to live at 70  Argyle Street, and Henry died there aged 46 years.

Harriet Dellow (née Peachey) (1843 – 6 November 1902)

Harriet was born in Manuden Essex, a village about eight miles south west of Saffron Walden and was the daughter of James Peachey.  She married Henry Dellow when she was c.29 years old. After she was widowed she ran a lodging house from 70 Argyle Street and died aged 59 years old.
