Georgina Kerry (née Smith) (5 November 1866 – 7 January 1940)
Georgina was the daughter of George and Sarah Ann (née Howlett) Smith and was baptised at the Primative Methodist Chapel in Cambridge on 23 August 1871. Her father worked as a college kitchen porter and she grew up at 15 Castle Street (1871) and then 33 Gold Street (1881). Her mother died in 1878 when she was 11 years old and she married John William Kerry (1863-1954) in 1888. The couple had one daughter: Elsie Margaret (1889-1966).
John was a butcher when they married and the family lived at 75 Sturton Street (1891) but he later worked as a boot salesman (at least 1901 onwards). They moved to 208 Mill Road (1901) and then 144a Gwydir Street (at least 1911 onwards). Georgina died at home aged 73 years old (although the grave monument states 74 years).
John continued to live at Gwydir Street and died in July 1954.
