Edmund Richard Dean (1886-1933)
Edmund was born in 1886 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. He was the younger of two children born to Richard Dean (c.1830-1911) and his second wife, Annie Maria Dean (née Yorke) (1850-1932). In 1891 the family was living at 181 East Road, Cambridge. In 1901 Edmund was still living at home but he was working as a grocer’s assistant. Before the war Edmund served in the 3rd (Cambs) B Suffolk Regiment. On 1 February 1904 he joined the Royal Regiment of Artillery. Edmund married Alice J Lowe (?-?) in 1916 in Cambridge. Edmund died on 10 May 1933 in Cambridge.
Edmund’s paternal uncle: Thomas Dean (1846-1908) was also buried in this Cemetery.
