Frederick George Earl (c1899-1918), a Private (67712) in the 6th Batallion, the Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment, was killed in action at the Somme on 13 May 1918, aged 19. He has a war grave in the Acheux British Cemetery, in northern France.
Frederick George Earl was the son of George and Mrs E. M. Earl of 84 Gwydir Street, Mill Road, Cambridge.
