Monument
This small ledger located in the parish of All Saints lies 8 rows west of the central path and 4 monuments north of the north path. It may be that the stone is not in it’s original position and sadly a headstone has fallen across it. Only part of the inscription of metal letters is visible.

In Loving Memory of WILLIAM EDWIN AMPS Nov 21 [1933]
‘At Rest’
William Edwin Amps ( 17 November 1892 – 21 November 1933)
William was born in Marylebone and was the son of draper Thomas Amps and his wife Mary Ann. By the age of 19 he was living with his parents at 13 Osborne Road, Cricklewood and working as a tobacconist’s assistant. It is believed that he served in the 1st World War in the Navy. He then married Annie Maria White (1889-1969) who was the daughter of George and Fanny White in Cambridge in 1922. The couple lived at Bologna, 14 Harvey Goodwin Avenue. It is believed that they might have had two children, and William died at the Fulbourn Hospital aged 41 years.
Annie ran a lodging house from Harvey Goodwin Avenue after being widowed. She was still living there when she died in March 1969.
