Henry George Beck (23 September 1856 – 26 March 1940)
Little is known of Henry’s life. He married Ada Walton in 1934 in Cambridge when he was 77 years old. They lived at 4 Greville Road and in September 1939 Henry was noted as being incapacitated.
Ada Louisa Beck (née Walton) (1875 – 30 September 1960)
Ada was born in Cambridge and was the daughter of William and Sarah Ann. She was baptised on 14 March 1875 at the Primitive Methodist Chapel and grew up at 85 East Road (1881), Albert Street (1891) and 6 Auckland Road (1901). Her father was a groom and later worked as a brewer’s cellarman. She married Henry Beck when she was 59 years old and remained living at Greville Road until at least 1955.
