Ernest Frederick Carey (1898 – 6 October 1930)
Ernest was born at 13 Park Street and was the son of James and Florence Carey. His father worked as a college waiter and Ernest married Marjorie Victoria Phillips (1901-1988) in 1920. The couple lived at 26 Park Street and are believed to have had at least six children. Ernest died aged 32 years old.
[The spelling of Marjarie on the grave monument is at odds with the usual way that Marjorie spelt her name]
