Frederick Galloway Clark (13 September 1870 – 3 August 1925)
Frederick was the son of Frederick Galloway Clark (1845 -1883) and Fortune (née Pettitt) (1843-1874). His father ran the Bird Bolt Inn on St. Andrew Street, and died of consumption when Frederick (jnr) was 12 years old leaving him an orphan. He trained as a bootmaker/boot repairer and in 1891 was lodging with the Caldecoat family at 44 Norfolk Street. He married Anna Edith Webb (1870-1971) in 1897 and they had one daughter: Edith May (1899-1973). The family lived at 83 Fitzroy Street and Frederick died at home aged 54 years old.
