Katie Jane Dring (née Bradbury) (1876 – 5 February 1922)
Katie was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Bradbury and grew up at 43 South Street (1881) and then 2 Upper Gwydir Street (at least 1891 onwards). Her father worked as a cabinet maker and Katie married Oliver Sidney Dring (1879-1971) the son of Oliver and Eliza Dring in the summer of 1913. Oliver worked as a telegraph clerk for Great Eastern Railway and the couple lived at 11 Sleaford Street and it is not thought the couple had any children. Katie died age 45 years old.
Oliver married for a second time in early 1923 to Katie’s sister Grace Emma (1880-1967). The couple continued to live at 11 Sleaford Street until their deaths.
