CH[ARLOTTE]

David Bush Edwards (c.1804 – 24 September 1850)

David was born in Cambridge and married Charlotte Dyer on 9 April 1829 at St. Clement’s Church.  They had at least eleven children: Robert (1830-), David (1831-), Charlotte Mary (1833-1864), Charles (1835-), Mary Bush (1837-1884), William (1839-1894), Frederick (1840-), Alfred (1843-), Martha (1848-), Henry (c.1850-) and Louisa.

David was a carpenter and publican – and ran the Horse and Groom pub on King Street. He died there aged 46 years old.

Louisa Edwards (1850 – 2 March 1851)

It is believed that the dates on the grave monument are wrong.  Louisa’s birth was registered in the 3rd Quarter of 1850 and she was baptised on 3 October 1850.  She was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 2 March 1851.

Charlotte Edwards (née Dyer) (c.1806 – 20 September 1853)

Charlotte was the daughter of John and Mary Dyer and was baptised  in Cambridge on 7 May 1809.  After she was widowed she  continued to run the Horse and Groom pub (1851) and died there aged 47 years old.
