Located 2 thirds of the way along the south path from the lodge and just north of the path. We did not uncover the kerbs so have not checked all of the inscription.

Thomas Edwards (1861 – 7 April 1916)
Thomas was born in Coton, the son of Thomas and Ellen (née Upchurch). His father was a gardener, and the family lived in Coton before moving to live at 4 Newnham Walk (1871), 8 Rivar Place, Sleaford Street (1881) and 5 Coronation Street (1891). Thomas worked as a carpenter (1881) and later as a waiter (1891). He married Louisa Daldry in 1896 and they had two daughters: Hetty Louise (1900-1963) and Margery Evelyn (1901-1981). They lived at Rushmere, 5 Rock Road where Thomas ran a grocery shop (1901) before later working as a college gardener and waiter (1911). He died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and his funeral took place on 12 April.
Louisa Agnes Edwards (née Daldry) (1862 – 13 January 1928)
Louisa was the daughter of James and Sarah (née Waspe) and was baptised on 29 June 1862 at St. Paul’s Church. James was a railway carriage cleaner who died in an accident in 1864, and Louisa grew up at 3 Russell Place (1871), 26 Railway Cottages, Mill Road (1881) and 82 Mill Road (1891) with her mother and siblings. She worked as a dressmaker before marrying Thomas Edwards and died at Rock Road aged 64 years old. Her funeral was hled on 17 January at the Free Church, with interment at Mill Road Cemetery afterwards. The hymns ‘Jesus, the very thought of Thee’ and ‘Saviour, again to Thy dar name we raise’ were sung at the funeral.
