This Ketton limestone headstone with Gothic-pointed top, in the parish area of St Edward, is located five rows west of the central path and 20 yards north of the centre circle
Inscription
Sacred to the memory of Thomas Flack
who departed this life September 14th 1861 aged 52 years
Also of Sarah wife of the above
who died March 2nd 1875 aged 61 years
Thomas Flack (c.1809‒61)
Thomas died on 14 September 1861 at the age of 52, and was buried on the 19th of that month in Mill Road Cemetery, in row XXIX of the St Edward parish area, in grave 5, at a depth of 8 feet. His address at the time of death was Wheeler Street (behind the Guildhall in central Cambridge).
Sarah Flack (c.1814‒75)
Sarah died on 2 March 1875 at the age of 61, and was buried on the 9th of that month in Mill Road Cemetery, in row XXIX of the St Edward parish area, in grave 5, at a depth of 7 feet. At the time of death she was living in the village of Harston, 5 miles south of Cambridge.
